Fairy Fang Films is proud to announce our 2nd annual festival on Friday November 6th & Sunday November 8th 2026!
Founded by NYU Tisch alumni Mackenzie Flynn and produced by Alexandra Weber, the festival takes place at Low Cinema— co-founded by documentarian John Wilson, Davis Fowlkes, and Cosmo Bjorkenheim—in the heart of Ridgewood Queens. The festival brings together independent filmmakers of intersectional identities to share and screen their work, meet fellow creatives, and forge connections in an industry that too often overlook underground voices.
Fairy Fang aims to shift that tired narrative. We seek artists with a love for the craft who are ready to break through the crowded landscape: unique voices with something urgent to say and stories that demand to be seen and heard. This festival exists to celebrate what makes you, well… you!
We especially encourage and uplift films whose director or key crew identify as LGBTQIA+, femme, neurodivergent, or BIPOC+.
The weekend consists of curated programming, whimsy, concessions, and exclusive photo opportunities,. The screening will followed by a Q&A panel featuring the filmmakers who made this night possible.
